Daily Ananda Venkateshwara Alankara Seva & Deeparathana

2026 is distinguished by the Srivari (Venkateshwara) Brahmotsavam running in parallel with Navaratri, so that devotees receive at once the grace of the Cosmic Mother and of Bhagavan Venkateshwara — both living through THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM. Every day, Ananda Venkateshwara is adorned in a fresh alankara and offered Deeparathana alongside that day's Devi seva.

Significance

Alankara — Alam-kara, "that which creates complete fulfillment" — symbolizes the soul's own journey toward liberation. Mahalakshmi resides within Venkateshwara's own chest, so the Lord's adornment during Navaratri is at once worship of the Mother.

The Ritual

The deity is adorned in colorful, extravagantly tied garlands depicting the Lord's divine play, and the Deeparathana — the waving of ceremonial flame in towered lamps — is offered before Ananda Venkateshwara.
