Significance

The Subrahmanya Mula Mantra Homa is the sacred fire offering using the root mantra of Lord Subrahmanya — the second son of Paramashiva and Parashakti, commander of the divine armies, destroyer of the demon Tarakasura, and master of the Swadhisthana Chakra. Subrahmanya's Mula Mantra — Om Sharavana Bhava — is the cosmic resonance of pure divine willpower, spiritual courage, and victory over all inner and outer adversaries. The Kaumara Sampradaya — the tradition dedicated to Lord Subrahmanya — is one of the six ancient Shanmata paths established by Paramashiva for the liberation of all beings.

This second offering, performed in the concluding Uttarangam phase of the brahmotsavam, represents the completion of the Subrahmanya cycle within the festival — sealing the full invocation of the Kaumara Sampradaya's blessings as the sacred season approaches its culmination. The Ritual
